Four injured in Turkish drone attack in northern Syria

Four people, including three women, have been injured in a drone attack by Turkey on a civilian minibus near Amûdê in northern Syria. This is the third drone attack on Amûdê since the beginning of February.

A Turkish drone bombed a minibus on the road between Qamişlo and Amûdê. According to initial information, four people were injured in the attack, including three women. The injured women are Daliya Şêxmûs (20), Roza Hemo (38) and Menîfe Himêdî (33), while the name of the fourth person is not yet known. The injured have been taken to hospitals in Qamişlo.

The attack is Turkey's third drone strike on vehicles near Amûdê this month. On 9 February, eleven-year-old Mihemed Eli Kelah was killed on the road between Amûdê and Dirbêsiyê, and a thirteen-year-old, a teacher and a 25-year-old woman were injured. Another drone attack occurred on 12 February in the Cewheriyê neighbourhood in western Amûdê, injuring one person. On 22 February, Turkish drones also bombed positions of the Manbij Military Council.
