Northern and Eastern Syria, PYD co-presidency council member Foza Yûsif called on Kurdistan organizations to unite against conspiracies and dirty tricks. She spoke at the Newroz celebration in Dêrik.
PYD co-presidency council member Foza Yûsif delivered a speech at the Newroz celebration held in Dêrik.
Underlining that they have built a new life in these lands thanks to the Autonomous Administration, Yûsif emphasized that the resistance against fascism and occupation will be increased.
Yûsif added: "We are once again telling the enemy that they cannot break our will by detaining politicians, denying the Kurdish people and ending negotiations."
Yûsif continued: “The government of Damascus should recognize the will of this people, give the Kurdish people and the people of the region their rights and guarantee these rights in the new Syrian constitution. This resisting people should have a say in the future of Syria."
Emphasizing that Newroz is a day of national unity, Yûsif said: "Kurdistan organizations should unite against the conspiracies and plots of the enemy in all parts of Kurdistan" and added: “The cooperation between enemies and invaders is a threat to national unity. In this context, everyone should take their responsibility.”
Yûsif underlined that the determination of women, the Autonomous Administration and the the peoples of North East Syria will continue until the end.
Foza Yûsif stated that this Newroz is the Newroz of Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan and hunger striking prisoners and saluted the Newroz of the SDF, YPG / YPJ and all fighters in Kurdistan.
