France’s Macron vows to support Autonomous Administration

The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria’s Executive Council Co-Chair said that the MSD and the Autonomous Administration delegation visited Paris at the request of France, and Macron expressed his support to the Autonomous Administration.

Upon the request of French President Emmanuel Macron, a delegation consisting of MSD (Syrian Democratic Council, MSD) Executive Board Co-Chair Ilham Ehmed, Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria’s Executive Council co-chair Bêrîvan Xalid and Deir ez-Zor Civil Administration Executive Council Co-Chair Xesan El Yusif paid a visit to France on July 19.

Speaking to ANHA, Bêrîvan Xalid stated that the delegation visited Paris at the request of French President Emmanuel Macron. President Macron, the French Presidential Advisory and high-level officials of the French Government were present at the meeting.

Bêrivan Xalid said that the participants debated the administrative, social, political and economic structure of the Autonomous Administration and the fight against the terrorist organization ISIS.

“The President of France expressed that he will continue to support the Autonomous Administration until security and stability are achieved in Syria and the entire region,” Xalid said.

Xalid added that France vowed to provide military and economic support to the Autonomous Administration.
