Girê Spî Military Council Commander Riyad Xelef has reported intensifying attacks by the invading Turkish state against the villages of Seyda and Muelek near the Ain Issa district, according to the Rojava based Hawar News Agency (ANHA).
The Turkish state forces have been heavily attacking the villages of Misherfe, Seyda and Muelek, the northern countryside of Ain Issa district and the M4 highway for the past two days. According to reports from the ground, the Turkish forces are trying to invade the village of Seyda in the north of the district.
Council Commander Riyad Xelef stated that the occupation forces have suffered many losses and had their military vehicles destroyed by SDF forces.
“The invading Turkish state and mercenaries have suffered heavy losses. They had to carry out airstrikes in order to be able to retrieve the casualties from the two villages,” he added.
The commander added: “There has been no change in their invasion plan. Our forces are fighting heroically on the frontlines to protect our land and people against Turkish invasion.”
