People from Girkê Legê, Til Koçer and Çilaxa staged marches to protest the invasion attacks of the occupying Turkish state on Efrîn and Shehba region. The protesters condemned the aggravated isolation on Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan and saluted the resistance of Efrîn.

Hundreds of people from Girkê Legê and surrounding settlements held a march by the initiative of TEV-DEM (Movement for a Democratic Society) and carried posters and banners reading "Efrîn is not alone", "Rojava is behind you", "We condemn the attacks of the occupying Turkish state and their gangs", "Efrîn is the impenetrable fortress of struggle and resistance", "We will never bow to the enemy", "The Freedom of Leader Apo is our freedom" and "We condemn the isolation on Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan".
The mass set off from Martyr Xebat Square and marched through all the neighbourhoods and streets carrying local symbolic flags and posters depicting Öcalan, while chanting slogans incessantly in favour of the resistance of Efrîn. After the people reached the area of the meeting, a minute of silence was held for the fallen.
TEV-DEM Administration Co-Executive Ebdulezîz Umer held the first speech and saluted the resistance of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), People's Protection Units (YPG) and Women's Defense Units (YPJ) and stated; "We live through a very fragile and hard process in Northern Syria and this process will continue to influence and determine the future of the whole Middle East. For that reason we get attacked by occupying forces. But the fighters of YPG/YPJ continue to shape and write the history of resistance with their blood."
Speaking after, Kongreya Star Executive Member Rîhan Temo made clear that the Turkish state will find its end with its attacks on Efrîn and Shehba, and vowed that the people of Cizîrê Canton will support the people of Efrîn with all their might.
The march ended afterwards with chants of slogans.
TIL KOÇER
The People of Til Koçer and Çilaxayê staged a march upon the initiative of TEV-DEM (Movement for a Democratic Society) along with civil society organisations, to protest the attacks of the invading Turkish state against Efrîn and Northern Syria and to demand freedom for Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
The mass gathered in front of the town's education center in the east and marched towards the center of the town, carrying posters of Öcalan and martyrs with flags representing all the local peoples, and banners which read "NO to Imrali prison, YES to the freedom of leader Apo". The people chanted slogans against the attacks of the Turkish state on the Northern Syria and Efrîn Canton, and calling for the freedom of Öcalan.
After the crowd gathered at the center, local TEV-DEM member Fîras Elî spoke and condemned the invasion attacks of the Turkish state on the peoples of Northern Syria and Efrîn in particular.
Elî noted that the Turkish state continued with attacks on Northern Syria the very moment the terrorist groups were about to be purged from the region.
Speaking after, Regional Assembly Co-Administrator Newaf Xedan saluted the huge gains in the fight against ISIS terror in Raqqa and said: "We are giving a fight for existence. We warn anybody who comes at us in an assault. They will regret it, because we are on the just way and united."
Executive member of Kongreya Star Semîra Remedan demanded freedom for Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan and called on all women to raise their struggle to give the truest answer to the isolation imposed on the Kurdish leader.
The meeting ended with slogans against the invasion plans of the Turkish state.
