Guerrilla action in Silopi: Several soldiers killed and wounded
A guerrilla action against a Turkish military position in Sırnak’s Silopi district left several soldiers killed and wounded.
According to Turkish media, the attack occurred early on Sunday and six Turkish soldiers were wounded as HPG guerrillas hit Hisar Tank Battalion near Nerdus stream in rural Silopi.
The wounded military personnel were rushed to the hospitals in Cizre and Sirnak.
Local sources say several Turkish soldiers were killed in the attack.
