Manbij Civil Administration organised a meeting to discuss the latest developments in the region.
The meeting, attended by representatives of the civil and military institutions in the city, began with a minute’s silence in memory of the martyrs.
Speaking here, Syrian Future Party administrator Cahid Hesen evaluated the developments in North and East Syria and the occupation attacks of the Turkish state.
Remarking that the states in the region and international forces were developing conspiracies against North-East Syria, Hesen said; “Each state and each force seeks to build its own hegemony over the blood of the people. The attacks against Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî are a continuation of this conspiracy.”
Criticizing the silence of the international community in the face of the massacres and crimes against humanity committed in the region, Hesen continued; “The will of the people is stronger than the weapons of occupiers who are doomed to be eliminated. We have no choice other than to protect our existence and lands. This struggle will achieve victory through the resistance of the youth in the region.”
Hesen’s speech was followed by evaluations and proposals of the attendees on the developments in the region. The meeting ended with criticism and proposals on the works of the Manbij Civil Council.
