Afrin Liberation Forces (HRE) issued a written statement and said, “Our forces continue their effective actions against the invading Turkish state and their allied gangs in and around Afrin.”

The statement announced a series of actions against invaders in Afrin and Azaz throughout the weekend.

The details of the actions were given as follows:

“On June 8 in the Ebla village of the Azaz region, one of our units carried out an action against the Ahrar Al-Sham gang group and killed the terrorist named Mihemmed el Xetib as well as injuring 3 others.

On June 9 in the Meryemin village of Afrin’s Shera district, an effective action was carried out against the invading Turkish army base area and killed 2 Turkish soldiers as well as injuring 5 others.

On June 9 in the Velat Al Qadi village in the Shera district, our forces carried out an action against a base area for the Jabhat al Shamiyya gang group and killed 4 gang membersas well as injuring 3 others.

On June 9 in the Meryemin village in Shera, our forces carried out an action against a fuel tanker that belonged to the invaders. The tanker was destroyed in the action but the number of casualties could not be ascertained.

At least 7 invading Turkish soldiers and gang members were killed and 10 were injured in these actions.”
