HRE: 8 invaders including 5 Turkish soldiers were killed

The Afrin Liberation Forces announced the death of eight invaders, five of them Turkish soldiers, as a result of their actions against the Turkish army and its mercenaries.

The Afrin Liberation Forces (HRE) released the results of the latest actions they carried out against occupation forces in the regions of Afrin, Mare, Azaz and Jindires.

The statement includes the following: "The invading Turkish army and its mercenaries have recently escalated their attacks on the region. Between the 14th and 19th of August, the attacks were met with self-defence responses.

A mercenary was killed in a targeted action in the town of Marê on August 14. On the same day, one gang member was killed and three others were injured in an HRE action in the Kil Cibrîn village of Azaz.

On August 15, our forces used heavy weapons to strike the invading Turkish army's base in the village of Keferxuş in Azaz. The casualties sustained by the enemy forces during the action could not be determined.

On August 16, a mercenary was killed and a motorcycle was struck in Jindires district of Afrin during a sabotage operation.

On August 19, an action was carried out in the Afrin village of Gobelê against a military vehicle belonging to the invading Turkish regime. Following the assault, another action was carried out against another vehicle while the Turkish forces retrieved their casualties from the scene. Five soldiers were killed and many more were injured as a result of these two actions. The number of those injured has yet to be determined.

Five soldiers and three gangs were killed as a result of the actions, while at least three gangs were injured.”
