HRE fighter Fedakar (Elî Beşîr) from Afrin died on May 5. HRE pays tribute to his revolutionary struggle and declares that the resistance will continue until liberation from the occupation.
The Afrin Liberation Forces (HRE) announced the death of its fighter Fedakar (Elî Beşîr) on May 5. "Our companion Fedakar fell on May 5, 2022 while carrying out his task," reads the statement issued on Saturday by the resistance group, which founded in 2018 after the Turkish occupation of Afrin.
A relentless struggle is being waged in order to liberate Afrin from the occupiers, said the HRE and continued: "Many young people are joining us in the fight against occupation. One of them was our comrade Fedakar, who grew up in a patriotic family in Afrin. His background and the participation in our struggle by people from his close environment had a great influence on him. After the occupation of Afrin, he too decided to participate in the liberation struggle. He shouldered this revolutionary task and fulfilled it with great willpower until the last moment.”
The HRE statement concluded, “We will continue Fedakar's struggle and give our word that we will liberate every inch of the occupied soil of Afrin. We offer our condolences to his precious family and our fighting people."
