Afrin Liberation Forces (HRE-Hêzên Rizgariya Efrînê) released a statement announcing continued operations against the Turkish invasion army and allied mercenaries in and around Afrin.

According to the statement, fighters of Afrin Liberation Forces carried out two effective actions against the occupation forces in Afrin and Azaz regions, details of which are as follows:

“On January 20, a Turkish soldier was assassinated in the village of Basilê in Afrin’s Sherawa district.

On January 22, a location held by Turkish-backed jihadists was hit with ATGM in the village of Abla in Azaz city to the north of Aleppo. Three terrorists including a jihadist in charge of the checkpoints in Akhtarin, were killed and a military vehicle was destroyed.”
