Afrin Liberation Forces (HRE) announced that their operations against the occupant Turkish army and allied mercenary groups continue in and around Afrin.

HRE announced the details of their most recent operations in Afrin region as follows:

“On January 27, our forces carried out a sabotage action against the occupation forces in Afrin, destroying a vehicle.

At the night of the same day, HRE forces hit Faylaq al-Sham mercenaries in the village of Birc Heyder in the Sherawa district. Two members of the group were killed and one other wounded as a result.

On January 28, our forces downed a drone of the Turkish army in between the villages of Villa Qadi and Berade in the Shera district.”

According to the HRE statement, the Turkish army and mercenaries shelled Afrin and Shehba regions with howitzers and mortars on January 27-28. The bombardment caused material damage.
