Human shields action has been organised for 8 days now in the village of Qere Mux, east of Kobanê, to counter the threats to occupy issued by the Turkey state.

The action is supported by representatives of the region as well as by representatives of civil society organisations and political parties in the city.

Eyşe Efendi, Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) executive, visited the human shields.

“The Kurdish people had their name written in history with the Kobanê resistance. We will display the same resistance again a possible attack on the region. We have endless confidence in the strength and determination of our people.”
