Some of the kidnapped civilians are released after a ransom is paid for them by their families. Others are not heard of anymore.
The mercenaries that plunder the houses of Afrin center and villages almost every day and kidnap people for various reasons, have abducted more people.
Locals named the new kidnapped people as Xelil Mustafa Yusif, Bezat Mihemmed Sileman, Lewende Cewdet Eliko, Newroz Eshed Mistefa. They were taken from the village of Dargirê in Ebriin's Mabata district.
The mercenaries, a month ago, had kidnapped two villagers named Ehmed Mihemmed Eliko and Cemaldin Ömer Eliko. No news have been received as to their whereabouts.
Ehmed Hisên Eli from the village of Xeyleka in the district of Bilbil was kidnapped by mercenaries two months ago.
Despite all efforts Eli's family has not been able to learn what happened to their beloved.
Hisen Eli was abducted once before by mercenaries, and then released after a ransom was paid by the family. Tragically Eli was kidnapped again by mercenaries 20 days after he was released.
