Hundreds of people in Amude attend funeral of Necmedin Feysel

Hundreds of people in Amude attended the funeral of Necmedin Feysel, who was killed as a result of the Turkish state's drone attack on a vehicle belonging to Jin TV.

Hundreds of people from Amûdê and its villages went to the Martyr Ismail Cemetery to attend the funeral of Jin TV employee Necmedîn Feysel.

Speaking at the funeral, Mistefa Amiri, a member of the Martyrs' Families Council, said: "The success of the people has been achieved thanks to the martyrs. We will complete the struggle of Martyr Necmedin and we will protect the achievements of the martyrs."

Berxwedan Amude, one of the commanders of the Amude Military Council, said that the struggle of the Kurdish people started with Martyr Haki Karer and continued until Martyr Necmedîn, who defended the 19 July Rojava Revolution and its gains. Berxwedan Amude promised to continue the struggle in the footsteps of Leader Abdullah Öcalan and the martyrs of freedom.

In his speech, Jin TV employee Loristan Derweş said that martyr Necmedin Feysel worked hard despite the difficult conditions.

Derweş promised to continue the struggle of the martyrs. The martyr's cousin, Peşeroj Cewherî, said that martyr Necmedîn worked for a civil society organization, but the Turkish state targeted him and killed him while he was working.

Pêşeroj Cewheri pointed out that the Turkish state violated all international agreements and said: "The invading Turkish state wants to destroy the Kurdish people."

Hena Xalid, a member of the Democratic Society Education Committee (KPC-D), read the martyrdom certificate and handed it over to his family.

Martyr Necmedîn Feysel was born in 1977 in the village of Cewheriye in Amûdê. He fell as a martyr on 23 August when an armed drone belonging to the occupying Turkish state attacked the vehicle he was traveling in. Journalist Delila Egîd was also in the car at the time of the bombing. She was injured and is currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Qamishlo.
