On August 4, invading Turkish state gangs attacked a family's home in Sefawiyê village, in Ain Issa, killing the father and his three children. The mother and one of her daughters were gravely injured in the massacre and were brought to a hospital in Raqqa.
Speaking to ANF about the massacre, immigrants from Afrin in the Shehba Canton criticised the international community's indifference in the face of the massacre.
“The invading Turkish state and its mercenaries invaded our lands and forced us to migrate,” Azad Ibiş, who stays in the Berxwedan Camp, said and continued: “The massacres against us are still going on. Those who purport to defend human rights are silent in the face of the massacres. Many atrocities were taken out in Afrin, and dozens of children, women, and the elderly were murdered as a result. In recent days, a family's home in Ain Issa has been targeted once more. The father and three children were murdered, while the mother and daughter were critically injured. How much longer will the invading Turkish state and its gangs commit killings and crimes against us? How long will it continue to pillage villages and force children to migrate? How long will he continue to massacre innocent people? How long will people who claim to defend human rights continue to turn a blind eye to these massacres?”
According to Eli Xelil, who criticised Russia's silence, which claims to have stopped the Turkish state's attacks and supported the people, "Russia turns a blind eye to the killings carried out by the invading Turkish state. The fact that the same atrocity occurred in Ai Issa demonstrates that Russia has remained silent due to its interests with Turkey. We shall continue to oppose the invading Turkish state's and its mercenaries' ambitions. We urge human rights and legal groups to fulfill their moral and humanitarian obligations to the peoples of Northern and Eastern Syria.”
Sidra Hemo, who condemned the invading Turkish state's massacre in Ain Issa, urged the peoples of Northern and Eastern Syria to unite against the Turkish state's invasion intentions.
