An Italian delegation made up of journalists and politicians has arrived in the region to observe the democratic process in Rojava-Northern Syria.

The delegation made up of Domenico Monchenat, Sara Montinaro and Leticia Caruso crossed into Rojava through the Semalka border gate and visited the General Relations Executive Council in Rojava.

The delegation was received by Foreign Relations Council Co-chair Ebdulkerim Umer and Co-presidential Deputies Fener El-Giet and Sena Deham.

The Italian delegation will be observing the Democratic Autonomous Administration project and its institutions.
