Joint view from political parties in Rojava for National Unity
Political parties and organizations from Rojava state that the Kurdish forces need National Unity and that a joint strategy and a stance should be displayed to achieve this.
Political party representatives came together in TEV-DEM’s Qamishlo offices and spoke about the developments in Kurdistan and the Middle East. The main topic in the meeting was National Unity.
TEV-DEM Administration Member Aldar Xelîl, PYD Co-chair Asya Abdullah, political party representatives in TEV-DEM, Kongreya Star, MSD and TEV-DEM represetatives were present in the meeting.
The meeting lasted for 2 hours and was closed for the press.
Kongreya Star General Relations Bureau Member Feryal Hesen spoke to ANHA after the meeting. Hesen said they spoke about the developments in Syria and Kurdistan in general and added that the participants discussed what path to take for the National Unity efforts.
Feryal Hesen said the representatives present in the meeting agreed on the view that all Kurdish forces should display a joint stance on the issue of National Unity.
The representatives also spoke about the Turkish state’s attacks on the Shehba region and the Efrîn Canton and agreed that these attacks are carried out against all the peoples of Syria.
