KDP closes Semalka Border Crossing

The Fîşxabûr (Semalka) Border Gate, located between Bashur (South) Kurdistan and Northern and Eastern Syria, was closed unilaterally by the KDP border administration.
Speaking to ANHA, Semalka Border Gate official Baz Ehmed said that Fîşxabur Border Gate Management closed the gate unilaterally and they were not informed about why this decision was taken.
The KDP closed the gate unilaterally for 40 days at the end of 2021.
