Representatives of Kurdistan National Congress (KNK) to Rojava continued diplomatic talks for the preparation of a joint-platform on 'Kurdish National Unity', and met with ENKS and Kurdish Women's Union of Syria in this scope yesterday. The platform will be held on July 15 and continue for two days.
The KNK delegation made up of KNK Administrative Council member Ebdulkerîm Omer and KNK members Nesredîn Îbrahîm, Ebîr Hesaf, Luqman and Telal Mihemed was welcomed by administrative members of Kurdish Women's Union of Syria's Sîham Amoke, Heyat Qico and Emşe Husên at their main office.
From the ENKS the delegation was welcomed by their representatives Fesle Yûsif, Mehmûd Mile and Xelîl Husam at their council.
Both meetings were closed to the press. KNK Administrative Council member in Rojava, Ebdulkerîm Omer, stated that their meeting with the Women's Union was positive and made clear that the discussed issues will be opened up at the platform with participation of the attending representatives.
The meeting with the ENKS took place at their main office in Qamishlo.
ENKS deputy chairman Fesle Yûsif noted that they held the meeting with the KNK upon the invitation by the latter, and said that the ENKS was asked to extend diplomatic ties within Kurds to make decisions as one Kurdish entity and solving problems surrounding the Kurdish people.
Fesle Yûsif said that ENKS leaders will convene in Southern Kurdistan on the invitation of the Kurdistan National Congress (KNK).
Administrative Council member of KNK-Rojava, Ebdulkerîm Omer, summarized at the end that diplomatic talks have already been held with many Kurdish political parties and organisations, and that the progress proved to remain positive.
