People stoned a joint Russian-Turkish patrol mission in Kobane on Thursday.

The patrol started in the village of Ashme, west of Kobane, and moved along the border. People stoned the vehicles of the Turkish forces in the village of Çariqlî.

Protests against the convoy continued in the village of Xorxorê, 17 km west of Kobane. The residents who were attacked with tear gas while protesting the Turkish forces, responded with stones.

On November 12, Kobane people had been attacked while protesting a Turkish-Russian patrol in the area. The attack with gunfire left eight people wounded, four of them seriously.

On November 8, a young man named Serxwebûn Ali was run over and killed by an armored vehicle of the Turkish forces on patrol in Girkê Legê.
