Kobane youth held a mass march against the Turkish state’s threats of invasion under the lead of the Revolutionary Youth Movement. The march started from the Kobane Youth Center and participants carried YPG/YPJ flags as well as photographs of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan.
The march continued as participants chanted and turned into a rally at the Free Women’s Square. Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement Administrator Rodin Kobane gave a speech there and condemned the Turkish state’s threats against Northern and Eastern Syria.
Kobane added that “The isolation against the Democratic Nation’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan is an isolation against all the youth of Rojava” and saluted HDP Hakkari MP Leyla Guven’s hunger strike demanding an end to the isolation imposed upon Abdullah Ocalan.
The protest ended with slogans condemning the Turkish state’s threats.
