The Kongreya Star Coordination issued a written statement on the threats to invade Northern and Eastern Syria made by the occupying Turkish state. 

In the statement the women’s organisation underlined the resistance against all attacks and conspiracies and called on the international community to fulfill its responsibilities against any possible occupation attack.

The statement added: “The peoples of Northern and Eastern Syria are resisting as a single body against the threats of the Turkish state. The Turkish state wants to save DAESH mercenaries that are facing extinction in Hajin.”

Since the Rojava Revolution, said the statement “the Turkish state has been targeting free life in Northern and Eastern Syria with its support for terrorist groups. This support went to the extent of sending warplanes against Afrin. Our people in Afrin are exposed to inhumane attacks every day.”

Kongreya Star condemned the threats of the Turkish state and called on the international community to fulfill its responsibilities against the attacks.

We would like to point out that we will resist the invasion attacks as women leading the revolution in Northern and Eastern Syria. We call upon all the people and beliefs of the region to take to the streets and respond to the threats of occupation.”
