It was reported that the occupying Turkish army seized people's lands in Afrin and cut the olive trees there to make room for a military base.
M.S., a source ANHA news agency spoke to from the village of Eltaniya in Rajo district said that the occupying Turkish army and mercenary allies cut around 500 olive trees in the east of the village a week ago and set up a military base in the land.
The same source stated that the land seized belong to Mihemed Eli Qero in the village of Hec Cemal (Rajo) and Mihyedin Beladio and Ehmed Salih in the village of Eltaniya.
The source said that when Mihemed Eli went to the commander of the invading Turkish army inquiring for his land, the commander told him: “Shall we get permission from you to remove the trees and get the land?”
Sources also reported that olive trees were cut down to build a helicopter base in the village of Biliko, Rajo.
Furthermore, sources from Afrin reported that the occupied Turkish army had seized the house belonging to Hesen Rashid Bilal in the village of Hecxelil (Rajo) to install a watch point there. They also set up another point in the Mira Mountain region in the east of Rajo.
