Long march by young people in Serêkaniyê

Members of the Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement have staged a long march from the Washokani camp to Til Temir under the banner “It is time for freedom, the victory is ours.”
In the scope of the campaign "Victory is ours" initiated by the Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement, young people staged a long march demanding an end to the isolation on Kurdish Leader Abdullah Öcalan and increased struggle against occupation.
With the participation of dozens of young people from Serêkaniyê, the march started with slogans in the Washokani camp. The crowd often chanted slogans against the occupation and demanded the freedom of Abdullah Öcalan. The activists are expected to reach Til Temir in the evening and make a statement there.
One of the participants in the action, Besma Mihemed pointed out that; “The occupying Turkish state and its gangs are conducting a special war policy against the youth in the regions they have occupied. We will continue our struggle against these special war policies in the streets. We will liberate Leader Öcalan, the victory is ours”.
Sandî Mihemed, a member of Hesekê Young Women Office, addressed all Rojava women and said that they should actively participate in all actions. Saying that youth is the guarantee of the future, Sandî Mihemed added, “No matter what happens, we will not give up our values and goals”.
