The Martyr Yekta Academy under Manbij Military Council has initiated a training cycle named after “Martyr Abû Casim El-Bikari” who had fallen a martyr in the campaign to liberate Raqqa from ISIS.
The training cycle is set to form the 4th regiment under Manbij Military Council.
200 fighters are participating in the training cycle which will last 45 days and provide ideological and military classes.
Dozens of commanders and fighters under Manbij Military Council have attended the opening ceremony of the training cycle.
Speaking here following the military ceremony of fighters participating in the training, Manbij Military Council Spokesman Shervan Derwish celebrated the founding of the regiment.
Derwish said; “Two years after the liberation of Manbij city, we are establishing our own forces to protect our lands and people against invaders. We have proved to the whole world that we can end terror and defend our people. Our forces have promised to be strict followers of martyrs like Abu Leyla, Abu Amjad and Abu Jasim.”
