Manbij Military Council fighter Ramî El Xelef was laid to rest in Manbij Martyrdom. Hundreds of people accompanied the remains of the martyr in front of the Fırat Hospital and then brought them the Manbij Martyrdom. Social distancing was maintained to comply with the coronavirus rules.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mihemed Abu Ali, one of the commanders of the Manbij Military Council, said: "The martyrs gave life to an honourable revolution. We bid farewell to a martyr every day. Every day we plant a new rose in the garden of martyrs. We promise that we will continue the struggle on the path shown by our martyrs."
Manbij Martyrs' Families Council member Hesna El Dahir said: "No nation can lead a free and honourable life without the sacrifices of the martyrs. We will not abandon the struggle of our martyrs, who destroyed the plans of the enemy."
Manbij Legislative Assembly co-chair Sîham Hemo said that the price paid by the martyrs made the region a safer place.
After the speeches, the martyr's certificate of martyrdom was read and delivered to his family.
