Manbij prepares to celebrate second year of freedom

On 15 August Manbij will celebrate the second anniversary of the liberation of the city from the DAESH mercenaries.
Preparations are underway for the celebration. The Young Women’s Union is in charge of preparing the celebration which comes at a time of new developments that gave way to some expectations as to the solution of the Syrian crisis.
On 15 August 2016 the YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Manbij Military Council liberated the city from the violent occupation of the DAESH mercenaries.
The Young Women’s Union is going around the city to get citizens involved in the preparation for the celebration.
