March in Aleppo protest occupation of Afrin in its 5th anniversary

The 5th anniversary of the occupation of Afrin by the Turkish state was protested in Aleppo.

Aleppo Revolutionary Youth Movement and Young Women's Union held a march to mark the 5th anniversary of the occupation of Afrin by the Turkish state.

The march kicked off in front of the headquarters of the Youth Movement in Şêxmeqsûd District, and ended in Afrin Park in the borough of Eşrefiye. Nadye Yûsif, a member of the Young Women's Union, addressed the crowd on behalf of the young people.

Yûsif paid tribute to all the martyrs in the person of the martyrs of the Epochal Resistance and said: "Since the occupation, the Turkish state has been plundering Afrin and its nature. Afrin is always in our hearts and we will end the occupation.”

Yûsif underlined that the people of Afrin, who were forced to settle in Shehba and Şêxmeqsûd, will continue their resistance until Afrin is liberated.
