Mehmûd Mihemed Diyab, a member of the Internal Security Forces, who fell as a martyr in Amude, was sent off to eternity in the Martyr Rustem Cûdî Cemetery in the village of Berkevir in Dirbesiyê.
The people, who took the body from the Martyrs' Families Council building in Dirbêsiyê district, reached the graveyard in a vehicle convoy. Edla Misto, co-chair of the Martyrs' Families Council in Dirbesiyê district, expressed the Council's condolences to the family of the martyr and vowed to follow in the footsteps of the martyrs until a democratic Syria is established.
Speaking afterwards, Internal Security Forces member Bircus Dirbêsiyê reiterated the promise to keep the struggle of the martyrs alive.
Martyr Mihemed Diyab's brother, Samir Diyab, said: "My brother chose this path, we promise to pursue his goals. We will protect the security of the region."
At the end of the ceremony, Iman Daduş, a member of the Dirbesiyê Martyrs' Families Council, read the martyr's certificate and handed it over to his family.
