The 6th Conference of Martyrs' Families Council of the Afrin Region started in Shehba with the slogan “Following the path of the Martyrs is the guarantee for the liberation of Afrin".

Afrin, Shehba and Aleppo members of the Martyrs' Families Council, as well as representatives of institutions such as Kongreya Star, TEV-DEM (Democratic Society Movement) and Democratic Autonomous Administration gathered at the Conference.

The conference began with a minute's silence in memory of the martyrs of freedom, after which a video about Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan and the struggle for freedom and its martyrs was screened. 

Members and participants then discussed the situation in the region and the latest political developments.
