Medical aid for Afrin migrants

The first batch of medical aid has reached the migrants in Afrin who had to migrate to the Shehba region following attacks by the Turkish state and their allied gangs.

The first batch of medical aid has reached the migrants in Afrin who had to migrate to the Shehba region following attacks by the Turkish state and their allied gangs. 3 truckloads of medicine and medical supplies gathered by provinces in Rojava and Northern Syria, Heyva Sor a Kurd European representation office and Southern Kurdistan’s Germiyan region have been delivered to the Heyva Sor a Kurd Shehba representation office in the Ehras subdistrict of the Shehba Canton.

 

Heyva Sor a Kurd Afrin member pharmacist Rîma Karmo received the supplies and stated that it is the first time that the people of Afrin have received medical aid: “The aid was sent by Northern Syrian provinces, the Germiyan region and Heyva Sor Europe. We have received 3 truckloads. There are 32 more trucks with supplies like food, clothing, blankets and tents. We are thankful for everybody who contributed and did not abandon the people of Afrin.”

Heyva Sor a Kurd member Dr. Dilgeş Îsa, who came to the city alongside the aid convoy that brought the medical supplies to the Shehba region, stated that the aid was collected from Northern Syria and the Germiyan region, and that it will continue.
