The occupying Turkish army and mercenaries affiliated with the Sultan Murad group kidnapped four people in the Cindirês district of Afrin on 1 August.

It was learned that two of the kidnapped were citizens named Hesen Elî Elî (47) and Mihemed Elî Elî (33). The names of the other two people could not be determined.

The kidnapped people were being held in a prison in the town of Bilbil, under the gang leader Ebû Mehmûd El Esmer.

The gangs demanded ransom from the families of the kidnapped people in exchange for their release.
