In a decision made in a workshop in Ayn Isa with participation from clans, a committee made up of officials from the Northern and Eastern Syria Democratic Autonomous Administration visited the Hol Camp 45 km to the east of Heseke to monitor the state of refugees in the camp who have no relationship to ISIS gangs.

The Hol Camp was visited by a delegation from the Northern and Eastern Syrian administration.

The delegation made up of Northern and Eastern Syria Democratic Autonomous Administration Executive Assembly Co-chairs Hamid El Mihbas and Berivan Xalid, their aides Elizabet Gewriye and Emine Ose, and Northern and Eastern Syria Camps Officer Sehmus Ehmed was received by Heseke Canton Camps Administration Co-chair Macide Emin, Hol Camp administrator Hemrin Hesen and Cizre Region Camps Administration Advisor Rojhat Eli.

An extensive meeting was held by the delegation and the camp administration where the parties decided that the women and children from Northern and Eastern Syria who live in the camp will go back to their own lands.

The decision for the migrants to return was made in the Syrian Clans Workshop held in Ayn Isa on May 3.

Berivan Xalid said: “As per the decision made in the Workshop with the clans, we held a meeting with the Hol Camp administration in a visit. With security precautions in place, we decided that Northern and Eastern Syrian children and women can return home.”
