Mine blast kills three children in Manbij

Three children aged 8, 9 and 10 died as result of a landmine blast in the countryside of the Manbij city.

A landmine left behind by ISIS has exploded in a village of Manbij, killing three children and injuring two others.

The blast occurred in the village of Xalid near the Tishrin Dam to the east of the Manbij city.

The explosion claimed the lives of Mihemed Sabit Salih (9), his brother Muhened Sabit Salih (8) and İbrahim Husam İsa (10), while two others were injured.

5-year-old Emel Sabit Salih has been taken under treatment at Dar al-Shifaa Hospital in Manbij and is reported to be in critical condition. 6-year-old Eli Sabit Salih, on the other hand, is in stable condition.
