Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) continue with the Operation Cizire Storm and the final phase of “ending terrorism” with the aim to liberate the last area ISIS gangs still occupy to the east of the Euphrates River, the Hajin town and its villages, and continue their advance.
Civilians in the region who reach the security corridors opened by the SDF in effective operations cross into free areas under SDF control. The Iwa Camp has been set up to the north of Hajin town for civilians rescued from ISIS barbarism.
The Deir ez-Zor Civilian Administration continues intense efforts to meet all needs of the civilians despite the ongoing war and their limited resources.
Camp Administrator Mihemed El-Casim said hundreds of civilians in the region have been rescued and settled in the Iwa Camp with the “Operation to End Terrorism”. El-Casim said the SDF continues to rescue civilians and that the Deir ez-Zor Civilian Assembly is working to meet the civilians’ needs.
