The Co-Presidency Council of the Syrian Democratic Assembly (MSD) held its ordinary meeting under the leadership of Co-Chair Leyla Qereman.
The participants pointed out that the current changes should be closely and carefully monitored and that the political transition process should be carried out on solid and secure foundations to serve all Syrians.
The participants emphasized that United Nations Resolution 2254 should be taken as a basis and that it will bring many positive results with it.
The meeting noted that the new administration to be formed in Syria should ensure the representation of the country's components and include all the colors in the country.
The issue of migrants and the return of refugees was also discussed during the meeting, where participants called for action to ensure an honorable return for IDPs.
The participants agreed that Syria's main need is a national dialogue meeting with the participation of all political and social forces, underlining that such a meeting will form the basis of a democratic Syria.
The participants emphasized the need to come up with a solution free from foreign interference and to be careful about discourses that would create hatred.
