Names of four girls killed in Turkish attack on UN-sponsored education centre in Heseke

The Turkish attack on a United Nations Educational Center for Girls in Heseke left four girls martyred.

On Thursday night, a Turkish drone targeted a girls' education centre in Shimoke village, 2 km from the International Coalition base. The drone attack claimed the lives of four children and injured 11 girls.

The school was assigned to underage girls who were excluded from the YPJ forces. It opened following the Action Plan signed between the SDF and the UN, to rehabilitate underage girls and assimilate them into society. The first batch graduated on Jan. 19, 2022, and it was about 51 students.

The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) revealed the names of the martyrs who were targeted by a Turkish drone strike in the village of Shimoke in Heseke city. The strike by an armed drone targeted a special center for girls' education under the supervision of the United Nations, 2 km from a base of the International Coalition on the road between Til Temir (Tal Tamr) and Heseke (Al-Hasakah).

The AANES announced the names of the martyrs as Rania Atta and Zuzan. Zidane, Dylan Ezz El Din and Diana Alo.
