New lockdown in the Euphrates Region to last until 2 May

After a partial lockdown a new general one will be in place until 2 May.

Once again the Euphrates Region Autonomous Administration has extended the lockdown in its attempt to contain the spread of the coronavirus epidemic. After a partial lockdown a new general one will be in place until 2 May. The new measure has begun on Thursday night at 7 pm.

North and East Syria Autonomous Administration Health Committee co-chair Dr. Ciwan Mistefa had said on Thursday that 8 people died of coronavirus.

Dr. Ciwan Mistefa added that 245 more people, 119 men and 116 women, tested positive to Covid-19.12 patients recovered.
