Ciwan Mustafa, co-chair of the North and East Syria Health Committee, said in his daily statement, that 136 people across the region proved positive for coronavirus and one person died. The deceased was a man from Hesekê.
Mustafa said that 46 of the 136 new cases detected were men and 60 women and listed the distribution of cases by city as follows; Hesekê 18, Qamişlo 28, Dêrik 44, Gikê Legê 17, Çilaxa 8, Rimêlan 4, Amûdê 7, Tirbespiyê 3, Dirbêsiyê 4, Kobanê 2 and Raqqa 1.
According to the latest data, the total number of cases across the region has reached 3.387, the number of people who died is 104, and the number of those who recovered is 658.
