In a statement, the Executive Council of the Democratic Federation of Northern Syria appealed to the people of Syria and the international community to mobilize against the invasive attacks of the Turkish state in Afrin. The Executive Council also noted that international forces and their organizations remain silent about the massacre of the civilian population of Afrin and called for actions by the international public in the face of the situation in Afrin.

The statement of the Executive Council of the Democratic Federation of Northern Syria reads as follows:

"The Turkish state has been attacking the Afrin region for more than 50 days. The resistance of the population of Afrin against these attacks is growing day by day. The decisive factor for a victory is the solidarity of the peoples of Northern Syria. The Turkish occupying army uses all kinds of weapon systems against the people of Afrin, carries out massacres and tramples on international law. The invasive forces direct their attacks directly at civilians and force the population to emigrate from the region. International institutions are still silent on this process. For the success of the project of the democratic federation and the freedom of the peoples of Syria, we call on all people in the country to stand together against the occupation intentions of the Turkish state. Our fight will continue until victory. We also call on our people living in Europe to put pressure on international organizations to mobilize them for the safety of hundreds of thousands of people in Afrin. Victory belongs to the resisting people of Afrin."
