SOHR announced that the invading Turkish state conducted excavations on Til Helef hill and stole historical artifacts.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that the invading Turkish state and its gangs stole historical artifacts on the hill of Til Helef, 3 kilometers southwest of the occupied Serêkaniyê (Ras al-Ain) city.
The history of Til Helef hill dates back to 6,000 BC. The hill hosted many civilizations.
The occupying Turkish state has been continuing its policies to change the demographic structure since the day it started to occupy Syrian territory.
It has been documented that the artifacts belonging to humanity were looted by Turkish state forces and its gangs in many historical places, especially in Afrin.
Looting is not only restricted to historical artifacts, as underground and overground treasures of the occupied areas are also being plundered.
Most recently, thousands of liters of oil were plundered in the occupied Afrin canton and exported to Europe via Turkey.
