The occupant Turkish state forces and allied mercenary gangs continue to change the demographical structure in the Afrin region and have set fire to forested lands in the countryside of the city on Thursday.
The forested lands in Basil and Cilbire villages were burned by Liwa Samirqand gangs.
The fire rapidly spread over a 7-kilometre area and reached Mabata district and Bene village of Sherawa district. 2 thousand trees in approximately 20 hectares of forested land were burnt down by the fire.
