According to local sources, Turkey and its affiliated groups opened fire to celebrate the results obtained by Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the presidential elections in Turkey.

As a result of the firing, a child was killed in Mehmûdiyê, a neighbourhood of Arin, and some people were injured.

Random gunshots hit the roofs of buildings and tents in the city.
