One-week lockdown declared in Cizire Region

Cizire Region Crisis Desk has declared a 7-day lockdown due to the increasing coronavirus cases in the region.

Following its meeting yesterday, the Cizire Region Autonomous Administration Crisis Desk declared a 7-day lockdown in the region.

On its official website, the Cizire Region Autonomous Administration issued the following statement:

“Due to the spread of the fourth wave of the coronavirus epidemic, the increase in the number of coronavirus cases, and the number of people who lost their lives due to coronavirus, the Ciizre Region Crisis Desk made the following decisions at its meeting on September 22, 2021, in order to reduce the epidemic danger on our people and to protect general security:

“A 7-day lockdown has been declared. The restriction will go into effect on Saturday morning (September 25) and will last until Friday (October 1).

According to this,

- All public roadways, markets, workplaces, religious institutions, schools, universities, kindergartens, restaurants, coffee shops, health clinics, and sports venues will be closed.

- It is forbidden to travel between cities and villages.

- The ruling excludes aid groups, water distribution institutions, gas stations, vehicles transporting vegetables and medicines, and media institutions.

-Farmers with agricultural initiatives are ineligible for official missions associated with agricultural committees.

- Private hospitals will only be open for emergencies, while pharmacies will remain open in accordance with the Pharmacies Association's watch list.

- Markets, greengrocers, and butchers will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The bazaars will be open from 10:00 p.m. until 10:00 a.m.

-The bakeries and mills will be working.

- Institutions of the Autonomous Administration, municipality (cleaning, water, asphalt works, and disinfection, economy (bakery, mill), electricity teams, and fuel stations will be open.

- The organization and camp offices shall follow the designated watch lists.

- The application does not contain all members of the Health Committee.

- Public Security Forces (Asayish) are in charge of the lockdown measures.

-Masks are required for all employees and those who are exempt from the lockdown. Those who do not comply with the rules will be penalized.

As the Autonomous Administration, we urge our citizens to abide by the lockdown restrictions for their own safety.
