Turkish occupation forces have launched a wave of attacks on villages in the northern Syrian town of Ain Issa and the M4 highway today noon.
The aggression on the M4 highway killed a 35-year-old civilian named Muheydîn Hec Ehmed Îbrahîm. The man came from the village of Baxdik to the West of the Turkish-occupied Girê Spî (Tal Abyad) city.
Ain Issa was the seat of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria until the Turkish invasion in October 2019. Meanwhile, the town is one of the constantly attacked targets of the Turkish occupation forces and their Islamist mercenaries. Turkey wants to expand its zone of occupation and is conducting a permanent "low-intensity war" in northern Syria to wear down the population. In the villages around Ain Issa, many people continue to brave the attacks. However, many families have left the region due to the permanent danger to their lives.
