SDF fighters advanced two kilometres near Mergeda town and liberated 17 hamlets in the area after clashes with ISIS gangs.

SDF also liberated a village near Cezrat and encircled El Sawa village in the northwest of Dera Zor.

Operation Cizire Storm was launched on September 9 to liberate Deir ez-Zor governate from ISIS. So far SDF forces liberated Deir ez-Zor industrial area and several towns and villages.
