Over two thousand more migrants reach Efrîn

2,240 more migrants have reached Rojava's Efrîn Canton during the past two days after being forced to leave their homes due to the policies of the Turkish state and attacks of ISIS gangs in Shehba region and various parts of Syria.

People in Shehba region are being forced to leave their homes due to the attacks and practices of the Turkish army and affiliated gang groups. Thousands of people from across Syria are also migrating from home in the face of the repression by ISIS gangs on daily basis, and heading to Rojava's Efrîn Canton where they take shelter to secure their lives.

During the past two days, 2,240 more people have taken shelter in Efrîn. These include many from Shehba region where Turkish military forces and affiliated gangs evacuate some areas and settle their families and some Turkmen families in their place.

During the past two days, 2,240 people from Azaz, Bab, Soran, Mari ve Dêr Hafir areas of Shehba and Raqqa, Deir ez-Zor, Bokomel and Tedmur regions have reached Efrîn's Shiya district.

The invading Turkish army has recently shelled the Rubar Camp in the Shiya district which houses some 5 thousand migrants, leaving some migrants injured.
