The Health Committee of Deir ez-Zor Civil Assembly has launched an information campaign on Coronavirus pandemic in the east of the city. The campaign started in the town of Abu Hamam will continue in the entire region.

As part of the works by three separate teams, pandemic measures in place are inspected.

One of the teams is conducting mobile health check and subjecting those suspected as infected to test. Another unit is responsible for daily monitoring at the quarantine centres where those infected with the virus are held. The third unit is raising public awareness on coronavirus.

On the other hand, the Health Committee is leading a disinfection work in houses and workplaces across the city.

Omar Halaf from the medical team called on the people to take personal measures against the pandemic.
