People marched in Aleppo to protest the Turkish state invasion of northern and eastern Syria.
In the neighborhood of Ashrafiyah thousands of people marched carrying YPG, YPJ, TEV-DEM flags, photographs of children massacred by the Turkish state and mercenaries and banners saying, 'Protect yourself to destroy the invasion and genocide'.
The march turned into a rally in the îstîqama Park. Ehmed Cafer, the Director of Ashrafiyah Neighborhood Council, addressed the crowd after a minute silence.
Condemning the Turkish state invasion of northern and eastern Syria, Cafer said: "The history of the Turkish state is full of massacres. The Turkish state massacred 10 civilians, including 8 children, in Til Rifat on 2 December. The politics of the Turkish state is fascist and unethical. The Kurdish parties should establish the Kurdistan National Congress to stop the attacks of the Turkish state and defend the Kurdish cause."
Hena Kerdûş, Director of the Women's Foundation for Education and Science, said: "The democratic nation project, the SDF and the Autonomous Administration changed political and international balances, put an end to ISIS and brought peace and security to the region. Since this situation disturbed the Turkish state, it began to attack the region. I condemn the silence of the international community in the face of the crimes of the Turkish state. I call on human rights organizations and law organizations to stop the humanitarian and immoral massacres carried out by the Turkish state as soon as possible."
